Socializing Games

There is a need to break down inhibitions among the minds of people to bring about a social change and to cultivate a feeling of one ness among society to improvise upon the upliftment of social and moral values. Paying games in masses play a vital role on this significant subject. A group of people play games in a team effort and thus shred all its ill thoughts and indiscipline against each other and thus create thoughts of well being of each other. Thus to play games is a social cause and when countries and continents play together the entire world bring a social cause and commitment for the betterment of humanity. All world cups, international games, Olympic Games and Commonwealth games bring people of all ages, creed, religion, places, genre and gender bring closer. There is no 'I' in T-E-A-M" and thus group minded team building tasks make them passionate towards a common goal and that is win come what may come in the way. A group can build effective solutions to the problems facing their communities, and therefore need to trust each other and communicate.

Cooperative games offer a friendly way and brisk way to couple passionate task-oriented goals in the team with drive to achieve win in the game. Thus, fun and to play games not only propel social change but also bring sense of equality and discipline amongst the team members. Also, games get people to think together, as a team, and everyone in the group has his own inputs and also shares ideas irrespective or cast and creed. When one has input he or she has ownership, and when sooner this ratio increase there is more success. Games become more relevant in the context of technique called framing wherein all barriers of caste and creed are shred off and focus is built upon to make the group or team more effective and powerful to achieve success towards common goal of win.

Games are used to build a sense of opportunity, passion, and purpose. Playing Games become pacifiers for the participants, as to elevate their potential and to settle the appetite of the group hungering for power. In quality education, games when used in the name of context of lessons students eagerly learn them with a sense of purpose and stays back in their mind longer lasting. However, when teachers use games as just the fillers students respond lazily and does not has much impact on them.

Kinds of Games

Playing games is an essential and foremost important part of our life and a child is bred up to playing games with zest. The love of playing games create in them the sporting spirit or sportsmanship that is the right spirit in which games to be played. The spirit is well expressed by a noted author that

“And it’s not for the sake of a rib boned coat,
Or the selfish hope of a season’s fame,
But his Captain’s hand on his shoulder smote –
‘Play up! Play up ! And play the game! ’ ”

Sporting spirit is made up of various elements like fair play, enthusiasm and a keen desire to win besides generosity to opponents and to keep calm and patience in all circumstances even in case of defeats. Rather, he should sincerely congratulate his triumphant opponent and show no signs of humiliation or vexation.

There are numerous games to play and they are broadly divided into outdoor and indoor games. The outdoor game does not mean to be played in outdoors but covers games like swimming, table tennis and badminton also which are played inside walls, but means broadly the games which contain much physical strenuous attributes. Thus, games which need physical strength are outdoor games and game which has much impact of mental vibes are indoor games covering games like Chess and other Board Games, Card Games, Puzzles, and now most important on-line games covering casino games, computer games etc.

Besides, there are other set of games to play which have been broadly divided into finite and the infinite games. When a game is played for the purpose of winning is the finite one, and an infinite game is played for purpose of continuing to play. Games like playing ping ball, computer games like Mario, Challenge Games, Tetris, Super Combat, Bubbles, and Snakes etc.

Then there are games to play based on cooperation and are divided into cooperative games and non cooperative games. The games which focus on interaction and fun rather than alienation and competition are definitely cooperative games. Though there is always a competition involved but outcome is not loosing or sitting out.

Then games to play may be divided into another group based upon initiative to teach leadership skills and growth of problem-solving skills and trust among group of players. These games boost one to create community change and powerful and meaningful gain to the society or group. Mostly these games are challenges or solving problems or doing some activities.

Games to play may differ on the basis of objectives, goals, kind of play and set of group etc. but all lead to fun, entertainment and strength to win besides physical as well mental boost.

Fun for Free

Now with the importance of games there is always a need to find partner with whom you can play. In outdoor games there is always an easy possibility of finding partners, but with indoor games it is not easy to find some one of same taste and time with whom you can play as you want. With the growing modernization and creeping of online power finding like minded people is also easy and within your reach across the world. There are numerous sites offering different games ranging from puzzles, infinite games, arcade games, actions games and multiplayer games etc. Most important part is that most of the sites are offering these varieties with no fee or other kind of charges thus making it free and more enjoyable. This is always nice to find free games to play online and that too with players across the world joining you and also the freedom of time and place in your hands along with wide variety of games to choose from.
Now there are numerous online websites offering variety of games with options of playing with the computer or live games with multiplayer across the world along with options of chatting with them thus enabling you to have live atmosphere within your reach. Free game to play website are wonderful as one need not to burn his money for fun and entertainment of his or her own choice of set of games, players and time anywhere.
One can find free games to play for all genres and for all ages easily just a click away with options of switching over from one kind or set games to another anywhere anytime also with the options of storing the previous played games on the site in one’s account. One can play a new digital version of the traditional Mario games, Connect Four game, shoot 'em up as a first person in shooter games, or challenge own mind with strategy games. It will be easy to get lost in these games and one does not realize lots of hours have passed at no cost.
There are also free games to play which one has to download from the sites, however it is not a good idea as it may waste much space of your computer hard disk besides requirement of special kind of graphic cards, sound cards etc. which will cost and thus make you pay indirectly for the soft wares. Besides these things consume lot of time while downloading to top it all it is very risky since lot of virus and harmful effects may creep into your computer data.

Importance of Games

There is no doubt that many outdoor games, such as football, hockey and cricket, are very good for mental and physical growth of boys and girls. They provide physical exercise as well as mental growth, as games improve upon the concentration as well as confidence to win. Moreover, playing games improve upon skills of one by training them to work together in a team, teach corporate discipline, and so promote what is called ‘espirt de corps’.

All this would be agreed to by everyone that to play games is most important part of our life and thus can not be overlooked. Most of the people are of opinion that playing games should be made compulsory in the schools as well as colleges and other educational institutions so as to develop the minds and skills of the every being. Now-a-days, most of educational institutions have introduced lot many games including chess, carom, badminton, swimming, horse-riding, cricket, hockey, football, squash and such other games at grass root level say even in pre-school stages too. They are of the view that playing games improve upon concentration besides children indulging in games are more attentive to their studies.

However, as logical there are some who would argue and are against this thought pleading that games discourage one from the studies and if they loose in the games also hurt their confidence. They also argue that playing games make one specially kids more violent than normal ones because to win makes them hungry for success but loosing reduces their confidence and make them violent. There have been numerous cases of such children across the world when children of different ages have been found to be violent after being deprived of success in the games and field they were in.

Apart from these different arguments, no body can challenge the thought of inspiration and concentration one improves when participating in games. Even indoor games also produce same result however, deprive the participants of physical exercises must for a fit and healthy body.

Thus to our point of view and final verdict, playing games are a valuable part of our life and one should not be deprived of the games as these not only help in moral training, obedience, voluntary discipline, co-operation, sense of fair-play and sorting spirit but also self-control, pluck and the sacrifice of self for the good of the whole. This is also a plain fact and truth that “the battle of Waterloo was won the playing-fields of Eton”.
